Club Day

A big thank you to all those who turned up and took part in club day this year. Another mention to Welly for being quiz master once again.

Self Certification Forms - URGENT

Another urgent reminder to all senior players that they need to fill out and sign a copy of the Self Certification Form to play this season. The form can be downloaded here. If you have not already done so, please fill out a copy and hand it over to your captain at the next available opportunity.

Fantasy League

Thanks to Tom Beale, the club are once again able to run the popular Club Fantasy League. Entry fee is only £5, with prizes of £60, £30 and £15 available at the end of the season. The entry form is available for download here. Entries need to be either handed over or emailed to Tom by the 26th April for the start of the season.

Online Membership Form

To try and generate an up-to-date player database, an online form is now available. The current records appear to be several seasons old and some contact details seem to have changed. To try and bring the records up-to-date for the coming season, we are asking all senior players, under 17's and under 15's to fill out the online membership form. This will make the captains lives easier come selection time, and also enable the committee to keep members informed of club matters.

The form can be found here. The date of birth field needs only to be filled out by under 18's to help fill out the League score card and aid captains in calculating bowling restrictions.

This information will only be used by St Ives Cricket Club to keep an up-to-date contacts database of players. It will not be handed over to any third party.

Outdoor nets

Outdoor nets are now upon us. Senior nets will take place each Wednesday evening from 6pm, and junior coaching will be each Friday evening from 6pm.

Unfortunately, we now longer have space for anymore U11 or U13 juniors. If you are looking for a club for a junior in this age range please contact Pete or Louise Davies and they will advise you of a local club with vacancies. Contact details can be found on the Contacts page.

New Overseas Player appointed

No signs of our overseas player Gordon Penney yet - but watch this space for further news......

Player Membership and Self Declaration Forms

Another reminder that self declaration forms need to be filled in and returned to a committee member by the start of the season. In order for the club to maintain Clubmark status it is of great importance that this is done - failure to do say may result in a player being ineligable to play in some matches. Download this season's Self Declaration form here.
Also available are the Junior Membership form here and Senior Membership form here, though an online Membership/Contact Details form for the seniors will be appearing shortly.

Fixtures

This years coming fixtures for seniors are now available online - junior fixtures will follow shortly.

Player registration

You should be aware that junior and senior club members can play for only one club in the ECB pyramid structure. Once the season has started, any transfer to another club will need to be requested via the Assistant Secretary.
