Player Membership and Self Declaration Forms

Another reminder that self declaration forms need to be filled in and returned to a committee member by the start of the season. In order for the club to maintain Clubmark status it is of great importance that this is done - failure to do say may result in a player being ineligable to play in some matches. Download this season's Self Declaration form here.
Also available are the Junior Membership form here and Senior Membership form Center>
here, though an online Membership/Contact Details form for the seniors will be appearing shortly.

Player registration

You should be aware that junior and senior club members can play for only one club in the ECB pyramid structure. Once the season has started, any transfer to another club will need to be requested via the Assistant Secretary.

Scorers needed for 2010

Once again the club requires scorers for the coming season. Please see any committee member if you can help.

Colts' cricket

A list of Hunts County Youth League tables can be found at Hunts County Youth Leagues .

Sponsorship and Fundraising

We are once again offering anybody who would like to do so, the opportunity to sponsor match balls for our senior and colts teams. For senior teams, sponsorship is £10 per ball, and for the colts teams it is £5 per ball. Please contact any member of the committee to sponsor. Many thanks to those who sponsored matchballs during the 2008 season.

Clubmark Accreditation

Thanks lots of hard work over the past few years, St Ives CC has achieved amd is maintaining Clubmark Accreditation. This confirms our commitment to being a safe, effective and child-friendly cricket club. The Clubmark logo is awarded by the ECB and Sport England and indicates that we have: a child welfare policy with appropriate personnel to deal with these issues, comprehensive insurance cover, trained coaches who can administer first-aid and an in-depth development plan covering all aspects of the club.

Subscriptions & Match Fees

Subscriptions will be incorporated again into match fees. Payment of your first net or match fee will constitute your membership fee for the year. Match fees for this season are as follows:
Colt (in junior fixtures): £3.00
Junior, FE & unemployed on benefit (in senior fixtures): £4.50
Senior: £9.00.

Insurance : reminder

The club has public liability insurance but this does not cover accidents to players. Please check your own policy.

Webshops

Another brief reminder of our webshops. The existing shop at http://buy.at/stivescc offers a better rate of commission, but our new shop at www.clubshare.co.uk/stivescc introduces more variety for you - such as WHSmith, Boots, Mothercare, PC World, Currys, Dixons, Jessops, Avon and Weightwatchers! Please continue to support this potentionally valuable fund-raising scheme and remember to use the sites whenever you’re thinking of buying online – new stores and services are being added frequently, so check them out. They're easy to use and at no extra cost to you. Many thanks to all those who raised £156.08 last season.

CCA Website

You can go to our Links page and log on to the new CCA website at www.cambsca.co.uk. It will list fixtures, results, tables, umpire appointments and news as the season progresses. At the moment you'll be able to see the divisions in which we'll be competing and our opposition.

Coaching

QUALIFIED COACHES AND COLTS MANAGERS ARE URGENTLY REQUIRED AT THE CLUB - PLEASE HELP IF YOU CAN!
